ГАСТРОЛИ БОЛЬШОГО ТЕАТРА ЧЕРЕЗ ПРИЗМУ АМЕРИКАНСКОЙ ПРЕССЫ

Аннотация


В статье рассматриваются вопросы освещения в аме-риканской прессе гастролей Большого театра в США. Основная цель статьи – показать, что гастроли Боль-шого театра стали не просто одним из элементов меж-культурной коммуникации (что вполне естественно для культурного события), но и своеобразным культурным кодом, через который происходит идентификация аме-риканцами не только российской культуры, но и стра-ны в целом. В связи с этим в статье анализируются публикации крупнейших печатных изданий США, по-священных гастролям Большого театра, делаются вы-воды о тональности публикаций, о степени интереса ведущих американских изданий к данному событию культурной жизни.
