Abstract

On October 25-28, 2022 in Moscow, at the Institute of Russian History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the next international scientific-practical school-conference of young scientists "History of Russia from Ancient Times to the XXI Century: Problems, Discussions, New Views" was held, which this time was timed to the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Soviet Union. In this connection, the discussion of national issues, both in the period of the Russian Empire and the Soviet era, took one of the central places at the forum.
