The presented review of the named International Conference, dedicated to the work of scientists of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, other institutes and universities of both the Russian Federation and scientists of universities of the Kurdistan-Iraq region, analyzes the speeches of scientists, diplomats on the priority problems of the Kurds and the Kurdistan region as a whole, their life in all spheres of the economy and culture. The problems of interest to the scientific world are also identified, explanations are given of the processes taking place in reality in the territories of Middle Asia.
